OCEAN VIEW

This residence sits above Pacific Coast Highway with a panoramic view of the ocean. The owner’s wanted to give the residence a complete face-lift. The existing building envelope is a grandfathered non-conforming use. The existing residence was constructed to close to the property line and exceeded the height limit. With that said, we were not able to add projections of more than 6”, relocate windows or increase the height of the building.  The solution was a commercial storefront skin with colored glazing and stone veneer.
